Long Wharf Theatre Renovations
New haven - 2013
This comprehensive renovation of New Haven’s renowned Long Wharf Theatre includes new, reconfigured seating, lighting and finishes in the Main Stage and extensive renovation of all public spaces.
The seating capacity was slightly reduced to create more theatergoer comfort while new HVAC, lighting and life safety improvements enhance the operations of the theater. Renovated and expanded lobby spaces on both levels, ticket sales, refreshment areas as well as new, expanded and upgraded toilet facilities address the needs of the loyal supporters of LWT’s long history as a New Haven cultural institution. Renovations to the exterior both make the theater more visible but also more inviting and accessible.
