Metro-North Bridgeport Railroad Station Platform Upgrades
PROJECT
Upgrades and modernizations to Bridgeport Station’s high-level platforms for ConnDOT.
PROGRAM
Platform upgrades include but are not limited to:
- New steel canopies with LED lighting; glass and metal windscreen panels incorporating advertisement panels
- Renovated platform walking surface with new tactile warning strip
- New MetroNorth wayfinding and variable messaging signage
- New passenger benches and waste receptacles
